Located off I-90 at Exit 124 in Gillette, ‘Frontier Relics & Auto Museum’ is the only auto museum in Wyoming. Entering through ‘Frontier Relics’, you will find yourself in a unique shop that combines antiques and artisan items, an old time candy shop, a full coffee bar, and a vintage library to hang out in.
Owned and operated by Briana Brewer and her father, Jeff Wandler, since 2016, their love for preserving the history and nostalgia of the automotive & transportation industry began long before then.

What started out as a private collection between Jeff and his father, Leon, has turned into the main focus of the museum today. Leon started because of his love for Hudson cars, and began adding gas pumps and neon signs to the collection with Jeff more than 25 years ago.
After Leon passed away in 2005, Jeff continued adding to the collection with his daughter Briana, keeping everything in private storage until the Ford dealership building (est. 1949) near downtown Gillette went up for sale. Since then, they have been expanding the collection and have recreated an old main street town inside ‘Frontier Relics’, including a general store, hotel, barbershop, and gas station.

Both the auto museum (Frontier Auto Museum) and the antique shop (Frontier Relics) are laid out in a way that takes you back to a simpler era. Many antique stores are so overcrowded, dark, and dusty that it is difficult to enjoy them to their full extent. ‘Frontier Relics’ prides themselves on being unlike any other antique store – clean, bright, and rotating merchandise (changes every 6 months).
Most of ‘Frontier Relics’ artisan items are exclusive to them and can only be found there! All of these items can be purchased through ‘Frontier Relics’ online store, and shipped worldwide.
Just opened in June 2019 is their mining museum, sourced from the mining collection of a retired miner from the Homestake Goldmine in Deadwood, SD. Kids will love playing in the ‘mine shaft’, and don’t forget to get a picture of them riding ‘Dino’ the Sinclair Dinosaur!
