Located off I-90 at Exit 126 in downtown Gillette, Wyoming, ‘Alla Lala Cupcakes & Sweet Things’ is a bakery that specializes in fresh-baked-from-scratch cupcakes, custom cakes, and a delicious cafe-style menu (paninis, salads, etc.).
‘Alla Lala Cupcakes’ was opened in December 2013 and is owned by Laura Chapman. It is a local favorite for fresh cupcakes and a great place to go for a light lunch. Fun Fact: All fruit-based cupcakes, such as the Rhubarb Basil and Blueberry Cream Cheese cupcakes, are made with a house-made fruit sauce!

‘Alla Lala Cupcakes’ is an eco-friendly business. Laura takes pride in purchasing only plant-based plastics for all consumables (plastic-ware, containers, straws, coffee cups and lids, etc.) that are compostable and decomposable. So you can feel good while eating great cupcakes and sipping delicious coffee!
Speaking of coffee, ‘Alla Lala Cupcakes’ serves only Wyoming-roasted coffee – Mystic Monk Coffee roasted in Powell, Wyoming. She also sells “snarky” mugs (see above) that are hand-crafted from the Red Bison Pottery Studio right in Gillette.
