85 years ago, on June 6, 1933, the first drive-in theater opened in Camden, New Jersey! It cost twenty-five cents per car, plus twenty-five cents per person, with a maximum of $1.00 per car.

Today, there are less than 300 drive-in theaters left in the United States. Although the prices aren’t quite like they were 85 years ago, keep the tradition alive and support one near you today!
